The Boxing Day service will be pretty informal i.e. me, perhaps in my bathrobe from home and the topic will be Jesus, The Precocious Little Kid. There won’t be any music this week because our musicians have been invited to take a well deserved break and actually have a Sunday off. Many thanks for all of the music they provided for us throughout Advent. Music really does make the season!

We did do a Christmas Eve Service last night, me in my ineptitude, didn’t hit record but other than the music, you didn’t miss much. If you really want a copy of the reflection, I can send it to you. I introduced folks to Wilf, my as is angel. She is my Christmas reminder that we all come as is. That is how we are created, that’s how we come, all of us in our own wonderful, beautiful diversity.

• There won’t be any Tedtalk this week.
• We are back on Zoom on Sunday January 2nd for our epiphany service and I know Jenny is already working on music.

I am available for any urgent needs over the holidays, so please don’t hesitate to be in touch if you need something. Other than that, Hubbell and I will be laying low, watching movies and eating treats that folks dropped off. I even received a rapid test kit from some thoughtful person. (I swear that it wasn’t me selling it on eBay 😳).

Blessings to you on this Christmas Day and I said last night, sending us back into the world…be brave, be careful, go just as you are, as is and good enough – loved, held and blessed as God’s own.
